Dare to dream: Kate Moss reunites with close friend Stella McCartney for iconic designer's 'surreal' Winter 2014 advertising campaign 


Stella McCartney has unveiled her winter 2014 ad campaign – and she’s drafted in close friend Kate Moss to take centre stage in series of whimsical dreamlike images.
Shot in the supermodel’s native London by celebrated photographers Marcus Piggott and Mert Alas, Stella’s new campaign finds Kate sporting a gold coloured dress while holding a new Cavendish tote bag decorated with yellow stars.
Another image sees her in a sleeveless dress, one hand protectively shielding her eyes as she gazes off camera.

Launching in September issues of Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Elle, W, Interview and V as well as various international titles across the UK, Europe, the Middle East and Asia, the campaign will be comprised of single and double page spreads.
The designer’s new campaign is the seventh featuring Kate, but it is the first time the model has worked with Stella in five years – with her last campaign coming in summer 2009.
‘Kate epitomizes the Stella McCartney woman and I wanted to capture her dreams and the moments we have shared over the years,’ she explained.

‘I wanted to escape into something surreal this season and fashion should make us dream, sometimes.’  
The latest collection of images will be accompanied by a short ‘mood’ film titled Kate Dreams with music composed by Fred Gibson, available to watch on Stella's official website.
Stella, a staunch vegetarian who famously vetoes fur and leather from her designs, launched her designer brand in 2001.
