Looking good in underwear comes easily to Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, in fact the British model is so skilled in lingerie know-how that M&S have signed her up to design her own collection.

True, the size eight 34A supermodel might not have the same lingerie needs as your average M&S shopper, and the 25-year-old certainly hasn't ever had to worry about control knickers or support bras.

But to celebrate the launch of her debut collection the svelte super has shared her well-meaning style tips on looking good in lingerie.

Speaking to the Sunday Times Style magazine Rosie said:

'The most important thing is that I wasn't designing for myself - that's boring. It's important that the underwear translates for all women, all ages, all sizes.'


The collection launches on August 30th and until then the it remains to be seen how well the genetically blessed model's designs will translate in to the average British woman's underwear drawer.
Her tips on choosing and wearing lingerie include 'think about colour', 'get fitted' and 'mix it up'.

Earlier this year when the collaboration was announced the Transformers star said: 'I thoroughly enjoyed collaborating with the design team to create my dream collection, and I'm looking forward to a fun and creative time ahead.'

And last week a short video of the model-turned-designer on a photo shoot for the range gave fans a glimpse of the collection.


The Agent Provocateur and Burberry model said: 'I love everything about lingerie, I've always had a thing for it.

'It is completely feminine, it's something for women, it's ours and it's a little secret.

The 33-piece collection includes bra sizes ranging from 30-40, with cup-sizes from A to G and briefs range from size 8 to 20.

ROSIE'S TIPS FOR LINGERIE LOVERS


GET FITTED: It's important that you are measured by a trained bra fitter ever six months. Your size can vary with changes in your diet, not to mention hormonal fluctuations. A good bra can improve your posture and make your outfit look better.

PICK THE RIGHT KNICKERS: French knickers are great for curvy figures, shorts are best if you're boyish; a Brazilian means there's no VPL and a thong is the sexy option.

MIX IT UP: I don't just wear lingerie under my clothes - a camisole if the perfect layering piece, and the all-in-one body would look fabulous with jeans.
