Cher Lloyd's perfume has the X Factor: Singer's debut fragrance exceeds demand by 500% on first day of launch
At just 19-years-old Cher Lloyd is already on her way to pop super stardom.
Her debut single went platinum in the UK and broke the magic top ten mark in the U.S. where she is also set to release her first album in October.
And now like Britney, Kylie and Rihanna before her the singer has launched her own perfume.
Cher Lloyd fans love the star's individual style
Fresh from a less than fragrant stint performing at V festival (the petite pop star walked off stage when over excited revellers threw a bottle of urine at her) Cher took to her Twitter account to announce the launch to her 2.2million followers last night.
She said: ''Very excited to announce I am launching my first fragrance!!!xxx What do you think? #pinkdiamond'
She wasn't excited enough to actually be in the country to promote the £15 perfume though, because she is in New York busy promoting her album Stick & Stones,
But with sales up more than 500% on expected figures it appears the reality TV star has the perfume X Factor wherever she is.
A spokesman for the Fragrance Shop says: 'It’s our biggest celebrity launch to date.
'We have had to order in extra stocks today, as we were about to sell out.
'It has exceeded our expectations by over 500%!’
The Cher Lloyd perfume starts at £15 for 30ml, and features white chocolate, jasmin and quince
Cher announced the launch on Twitter to her 2.2million followers
And sales are strongest around the singer's home areas of Worcester, Gloucester and Cheltenham.
The perfume, which comes in a bottle shaped like a bright pink diamond, is made up of white chocolate, kiwi and vanilla pods as well as jasmin petals, orchid and golden quince, creating a sweet, fruity and floral scent which Cher hopes will 'remind everyone to be 'strong and confident in themselves.'
Notes accompanying the scent say: 'Cher has always wanted to release a fragrance which embodies her unique personality.
The diamond is used as an iconic symbol for all of us to remember that no matter what others may say, we are all special.'
